چکیده

Abstract Aim Indications for blood tests are often poorly considered. Appropriate requests reduce trauma patients, improve laboratory workflow and costs. We therefore created a novel protocol bloods requested in the post-operative period patients undergoing elective colorectal cancer resections. performed two audit cycle loops to assess adherence evaluate financial savings. Method The was agreed locally by consultant consensus, presented February 2021, displayed on surgical wards May 2021. Bloods were reviewed retrospectively colonic resection with an uncomplicated course. Conclusions Following post-elective may save our hospital £1700 annum. Protocol improved when wards. With these exciting results, we working Medway EPR create order set containing this protocol.

A Network Design Model for a Resilient Closed-Loop Supply Chain with Lateral Transshipment

This paper develops a model for the closed-loop supply chain network design with disruption risk. By considering supply disruption, two factors including extra inventory and lateral transshipment are used as resilience strategies. The main purpose is to reduce the supply chain costs due to the location decisions, quantity of products between different levels and lost sale. Disruption in a suppl...
